Dungeons and Dragons – Travis Spinelli WEBD410 CMS

Dungeons and Dragons is a table top role playing game filled with action, adventure, intrigue, mystery, and much more. It is limited only by the imagination of the Dungeon Master and the players.

I play a lot of Dungeons and Dragons. Often I am the Dungeon Master (DM) crafting worlds for players to explore and other times I am a player seeking to fulfill a personal quest in a chaotic world. My favorite kind of character to play is one that uses deception or persuasion to move through encounters. I personally find it more enjoyable to build my own worlds than using the set ones created by Wizards of the Coast and so I am an avid supporter of home brewing materials. That being said I do DM for Adventurers’ League as well, which is a standardized format of play that sticks heavily to the core rules and adventures.

I have recently created two short campaigns based around the Netflix series Stranger Things using 5th edition rules. Some of my favorite magic items that I have created are Pandora’s Box and Greg (a magic floating and talking book of dark magic). One of my favorite NPCs was a guy who came into existence completely by accident due to the players. They named him Stabby McStabberson and he was a formed soldier that went insane due to his use of a demonic dagger.
